On Friday 6th May, Year 3 Seahorses found out about VE Day. We discovered that VE Day stands for Victory in Europe Day, which marked the end of World War Two. We found out which countries were involved and why the 8th May 1945 was such a day for celebration. We looked at how people celebrated the ending of the war through street parties, singing and dancing!

We decided to create our own class poster to join in with the celebrations. We carefully sketched and coloured our artwork and then put it all together to create our amazing poster. Have a look at our wonderful work!
