Today, we went on a walk in our local area. We have been learning all about the place where we live and this gave us the perfect opportunity to see places we may not have seen before.

We looked at the different types of houses we could see such as bungalows and semi-detatched houses. We even saw two caravans! Lots of us thought that they were for a holiday as they were parked outside a house already. We learned that houses have numbers which means they have an address!

We saw a park with a play area which had slides and a big climbing frame! We then spotted a small farm where horses are kept but unfortunately it seemed like they were all asleep!

We looked at the different signs we could see such a bus stops, road names and traffic signs. We thought about what they might mean and how they can help people.

When we arrived back at school we had a short rest before talking about some of the things that we saw during the walk. Some of our favourites were a flag, a church and some of our own houses!
