Year 1 visited Lancaster Farm and through enjoyed the whole experience. We enjoyed seeing the animals as our topic this term has focused on naming animals and identifying which group they belong to. We have looked at and named body parts, recognising similarities and differences between species.

Our pupils had the opportunity to see the animals up close and even hold some of the little animals!

There was so much excitement when we got the chance to feed the lambs! The staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. They took their time to ensure they answered the questions our pupils had to ask. Despite the cold weather Year 1 were incredibly well-behaved and a credit to our school. We hope to return back again one day!
