Well we all had a fantastic time and everyone filled their bellies with tantalising turkey, scrumptious stuffing, perfectly cooked parsnips, crunchy carrots, marvellous mashed potato, ridiculously good roast potatoes and topped off with a generous helping of gorgeous gravy!
It didn't go according to plan though, as when we entered the canteen to go and join the rest of the classes to sit down and eat our delicious meal, we hit a stumbling block... there was no space for us!
It was a bit of a panic moment where we had a line of hungry but very patient children waiting to be served their food, but nowhere to sit!
Luckily we were able to think on our feet and act fast! The ICT suite was free and could easily cater our needs! So we all got our dinners, took our cutlery through, along with drinks and ice creams for desert!
Mr Piotrowicz got the laptop fired up so we could blast out some good old Christmas tunes in the background whilst we enjoyed our Christmas dinners in our own little Christmas dinner wonderland!
We all had a brilliant time wearing our personalised Christmas cracker hats and spending the rest of our afternoon enjoying a film in the hall with the rest of the school, followed by an extended play!
