Reading Ambassadors
Our Reading Ambassadors are pupils who help us to celebrate and promote a love of reading throughout our school. They play an important role in encouraging other children to enjoy books, discover new authors and make good use of our school library. Our Reading Ambassadors help to look after the School Library and our new Reading Zones by making sure books are returned to the correct places and that the space is kept tidy, welcoming and enjoyable for everyone. They are wonderful role models who help make reading a positive and exciting part of school life.
This year, we invited pupils from Key Stage 2 to apply for the role of Reading Ambassador. Pupils who were interested were asked to complete an application form explaining why they would be suitable for the role and submit it to Miss Riaz.
We were delighted to receive so many enthusiastic applications!
A huge congratulations to our 12 chosen Reading Ambassadors from Years 3–6! We are very proud of them and look forward to seeing all the wonderful ways they will help us promote reading and inspire others across the school this year.
