Treasure Hunt!

Reception have been having lots of fun this week finding out about our new topic ‘Do you want to go on a treasure hunt?’ We found a message in a bottle from some pirates who had lost their treasure. Also in the bottle was a treasure map so we followed the clues and found lots of different pirate treasures.

We then decided to set up our own pirate museum and we worked hard to use our phonics to write labels for each item.

We also wrote some messages in a bottle back to the pirates to tell them what we had found. We all worked really hard using our phonics to help us write sentences.

On Thursday we had another challenge to find all the pirate numbers in the correct order. 

This week has been full of Pirate fun and we have really enjoyed dressing up and acting out stories as pirates!
