Burps, Bottoms and Bile!
Jellyfish have definitely started the New Year with a kick start. Our topic for this half term is Burps, Bottoms and Bile. Yes, you guessed it! We will be learning all about the human body in all its glory.
Starting with the mouth and teeth, Jellyfish have already begun to create their own factual information sheets, informing us all about canines, molars, incisors and more. Continue to visit the Pobble website to see your child's writing. We will also be working scientifically in Science by investigating how to keep our teeth clean. We are then going on to learn more about the human body and all our insides!
We are looking forward to being visited by the local Nurse, to teach us more about the human body, our teeth and the role of doctors and Nurses. We will also be creating our own healthy snacks and learning about the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
If there are any posters, pictures or models about the above at home that the children would love to share with the class, then please feel free to bring them in.
